With paper-based clinics becoming a thing of the past, patients can now receive their prescriptions via email or text message.
This is excellent news for anyone who’s ever misplaced their paper scripts (which is just about all of us)
The doctor send your e-script to you as an encrypted token, similar to a QR code, which your local pharmacy then scans.
Receiving a script in this format gives you an extra level of privacy.
ESCRIPTS
-Go hand-in-hand with telehealth during COVID; and
-Reduce errors in pharmacy dispensing.
While we’ll continue to provide written scripts to patients, taking advantage of this service can only make your life that little bit easier.
